The commercial drone industry is just starting to take shape and has seen enormous growth in the last year alone. Drones are already helping change the way we work and live and are becoming a mainstream tool for consumers and businesses.

But we’ve only begun to scratch the surface of possibilities. Companies like Google X hope to transform package delivery using drones, making it safer, faster, and cheaper for everyone. Maersk achieved the first successful delivery of a package to a tanker at sea with huge implications for the shipping industry.

Movidius recently released a new ultra tiny visual processing chip, the Myriad 2, that provides the same sense & avoid and object recognition of DJI’s drones to basically any drone. Intel has jumped into the market with their Real Sense camera featured in Yuneec’s new Typhoon series. And more and more of top tech companies and small businesses in a variety of fields are seeing the value and following suit.

At Drones Data X 2016, we are gathering the sharpest minds making these innovations possible with new entrants, awesome startups, and key investors in San Francisco to explore the current state of the drone industry, as well as discuss the future possibilities for commercial drones, robotics, and big data.

We have all the top companies including: Google X, Intel, Movidius, Yuneec USA, NASA, DJI, the Small UAV Coalition, 3DRobotics, DroneDeploy, Skycatch, Measure, Flirtey, Samsung, Redbird, Maersk, and many more lined up to speak and attend.
